As Buxton’s leading provider of further education embarks on its new journey as the University of Derby – Buxton, there are lots of new and exciting opportunities for young people in North Derbyshire.
Home to a variety of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, there’s no better place to achieve technical excellence as you begin your career. Based in Buxton’s iconic Devonshire Dome, the College provides students with access to a simulated hospital ward, Early Years setting, seven industry kitchens, and two commercial spaces: Salon Inspire the fully equipped hair & beauty salon, and Harpurs, the student-led Bistro.
Alongside achieving a Double AA rosette, Harpurs Bistro, sets itself apart as the home for culinary excellence in the area as the only Craft Guild of Chefs accredited FE training provider in Derbyshire.
